Matthew Breddan Elected President-Elect of SFVBA

We are excited to announce Shareholder Matthew Breddan, Esq was elected the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Executive Committee’s President-Elect for the 2022-2023 term. This is Mr. Breddan’s seventh year serving the SFVBA and his first as the organization’s President-Elect. Mr. Breddan previously held leadership positions in the SFBVA Board of Trustees and became a member of the Executive Committee, first as the Treasurer and, more recently, as the Secretary. As a member of the Board and the Executive Committee, Mr. Breddan has worked to find creative solutions faced by members and the public, including service delivery and networking challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. As the current President-Elect of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, he is excited to continue advocating for member development and strengthening community outreach through dynamic partnerships and programs to serve the critical needs of our community.

Mr. Breddan began practicing law in 1994 and has focused nearly exclusively on family law with offices throughout the San Fernando Valley. Upon joining The Reape-Rickett Law Firm in 2013 as a Shareholder, he was influential in extending our family law services throughout the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys while continuing our mission of empowering our clients and community. Since Mr. Breddan joined, The Reape-Rickett Law Firm has expanded our footprint and established offices in Calabasas and Westlake Village to ensure convenient and exceptional services for families throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties. In addition to his years of service on the SFVBA Executive Committee, Mr. Breddan volunteers his time in the Judge Pro Tem program, served as Chair of the Family Law Executive Committee, and is a member of Haven Hills Domestic Violence Agency Board of Directors.
