Donald P. Reape, Esq. has been selected to the 2025 Southern California Rising Stars list. Prior to joining The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, Donald defended New England government entities, elected officials, and corporations in civil litigation in both state and federal court. Donald successfully served as lead appellate counsel defending a municipality in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Reape began his legal career in public service as an Assistant State Public Defender in Wisconsin where he litigated more than four hundred cases per year and successfully first-chaired numerous trials including felonies, misdemeanors, civil commitments, and parole/extended supervision revocations.

 

Donald earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. While at the University of Michigan Law School, Donald served as an Associate Editor of the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform.
