Reape-Rickett Attorneys Recognized with AV Preeminent Rating

The Reape-Rickett Law Firm is proud to announce Shareholder Matthew A. Breddan, Esq., Donald R. Klahs, Esq., Of Counsel, and Laurence R. Goldman, Esq. received the AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. This is Mr. Breddan’s second consecutive AV Preeminent rating, Mr. Klahs’ twentieth consecutive designation, and Mr. Goldman’s twenty-sixth. Their Preeminent status reflects their years of experience, dedication to their clients, professionalism in and outside the courtroom, and standing in the legal community.

For over 25 years Mr. Breddan has provided family law services to families across the Conejo, San Fernando, and Los Angeles communities. In addition to assisting his clients, Mr. Breddan serves as a Temporary Judge and Daily Settlement Officer throughout the Los Angeles County Court, ensuring access to fair and timely legal assistance. He is also a Trustee for the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and Chair on the Family Law Executive Community. Mr. Breddan is also committed to serving his community, and in 2019 he became a Board Member of Haven Hills, a domestic violence shelter and non-profit organization that provides life-saving support for domestic violence survivors. 

Since beginning his legal career over 40 years ago, Mr. Goldman has assisted clients across the Los Angles and Conejo areas. In 1990, Mr. Goldman became as Certified Family Law Specialist by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in recognition of his extensive knowledge. He has also served as a Mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court for over 30 years and in 2017 joined the LAC Superior Court Temporary Judge Program. Mr. Goldman is committed to his community and has served the Chamber of Commerce in both Calabasas and the San Fernando Valley and was a member of the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center for over twenty years. Mr. Klahs has over 35 years of experience and is a member of the family law sections of the California State Bar Association. In addition to providing clients with straight forward and results-oriented assistance, Mr. Klahs also served as a Judge Pro Tem and mediated cases for the Los Angeles Superior Court for over 15 years.
