Bridge to Home Donation Drive

Every November for over 20 years, Bridge to Home has opened the doors of their winter shelter to Santa Clarita’s homeless citizens. This short-term shelter seeks to provide acute and life-saving services in addition to their year-round programs. Bridge to Home Director of Programs, Chris Najarro, MSW shares: “On a daily basis, Bridge to Home provides supportive services to nearly 100 individuals by providing shelter, showers, meals, case management, and transportation services, among other services.” This integrated service model seeks to provide immediate relief while cultivating long-term solutions with the ultimate goal of securing housing stability. As Bridge to Home works to provide services and solutions for Santa Clarita’s homeless population they often need additional support to fulfill their mission.

As longtime supporters of Bridge to Home, The Reape-Rickett Law Firm is partnering with the Junior Chamber International’s Santa Clarita branch to gather crucial supplies for Bridge to Home and their clients. From now until April 30th our Valencia Office will serve as a collection point for the donation drive where you can drop off groceries, personal care items, gift cards and more. Additionally, the Jaycees will also be planning to host dinner for up to 75 homeless people on 30th/31st March and are asking for food donations. Director Chris Najarro explains, “It’s through the generous contribution of the community that we are able to provide so many of these vital services. Bridge to Home is so grateful for donation drives like these that provide meet our in-kind needs.”
