Rochelle C. Binns, Associate Attorney, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California Lutheran University, where she was President of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society. She then received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. During law school, Ms. Binns received a CALI Award in Animal Law as well as a Witkin Award for her work representing special needs children in the Children’s Rights Clinic. She was also an avid volunteer in Southwestern’s Teen Court program and Expungement clinics.
Ms. Binns began her legal career in plaintiff’s personal injury law where she fought endlessly for her injured clients. Ms. Binns brings that same fighting passion to family law, where she has helped hundreds of clients navigate the complexities of family law matters including divorce, legal separation, property division, restraining orders, and child custody battles. Prior to joining The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, she worked at two other family law firms in the Los Angeles area, including one focused exclusively on representing the family law needs of the LQBTQ+ community. Ms. Binns understands that each family’s situation and concerns are unique, and she is dedicated to advocating for the best interests of her clients and their families.
When she is not fighting for her clients, Ms. Binns can be found hiking, writing mystery novels, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
