David Rickett Runs For SCV Bar Board Member Position
Each year, the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association elects its board of Trustees based upon the recommendation of the Executive Nominating Committee.
This year our very own David Rickett with The Reape – Rickett Law Firm has been nominated for the position of Board Member At-Large. David had this to say about his candidacy:
The Reape – Rickett Law Firm has been a large supporter of the Santa Clarita Bar Association. Throughout the years, our firm has encouraged our associates to be involved in networking, and in particular, involved at the local bar association. This year it is my hope that I will be able to serve on the Santa Clarita Board directly and support the association in this capacity rather than as a member of the association as I have been in the years past. Thank you for your consideration.
An example of The Reape – Rickett Law Firm’s participation and support of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association was evidenced by our “Supreme Court Sponsorship” of the 7th annual Law Appreciation Day on Friday, October 7th, 2011.
This day pays tribute to the creation, enforcement and practice of law as well as to honor those who have made a significant impact in our community.
Guest speaker was John March, the father of David March, a Sheriff Deputy who was murdered in the line of duty in 2002. John March told a compelling story of the killer’s escape to Mexico and his 5 – year battle to bring his sons killer to justice.
